Areas I often support with

Maybe life feels heavy right now or you are simply looking for a space to be heard, I offer support for a range of experiences. Below are some of the areas where we can work together to find a more manageable path forward.

Anxiety & Overthinking

Anxiety can feel like a constant inner noise—worrying about decisions, overthinking conversations, or feeling on edge without knowing why. Over time, this exhaustion leaves very little space to feel truly settled.

Counselling offers a calmer place to slow those thoughts down. We will work at your pace to help you feel more grounded, with no pressure to 'fix' anything quickly.

Stress & Burnout

When life feels like a relentless series of demands, it’s easy to lose touch with yourself. You might feel constantly 'raced,' physically drained, or as though you are just functioning rather than living.

Together, we can create a dedicated space to pause. We’ll look at what is weighing you down and find gentle ways to rediscover your balance and energy.

Low Confidence & Self-Esteem

If your inner voice is often critical or unkind, it can hold you back from the life you want to lead. You may find yourself putting others first or feeling like you aren't 'enough' just as you are.

Our work together is about building a kinder relationship with yourself. We’ll gently challenge those old patterns and help you recognise your own value and worth.

Low Mood & Feeling Stuck

Low mood can make the world feel heavy, making it hard to know how to move forward. You might feel disconnected, unmotivated, or find that you have lost interest in things you used to enjoy.

I provide a warm, non-judgemental space to explore these feelings gently. We won't rush the process; we will work at your pace to understand what feels stuck and how to move toward feeling lighter again.

Difficult Past Experiences

Past experiences can show up in the present in subtle or confusing ways, influencing our current fears and behaviours. Exploring these old hurts can feel daunting, as they often carry a lingering emotional impact.

Counselling offers a safe space to explore these memories at a pace you control. We will work together to understand how your history affects you now, helping you process these experiences without feeling pushed or rushed.

Anything Else

People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons, and you don’t need to have a specific label or everything figured out before we meet. Sometimes things just don't feel quite right, or you have a sense that life feels heavier than it should.

If what you are feeling isn't listed here, I still invite you to reach out. My hope is to offer a space that feels calm and easy to be in, where your specific needs and pace are always the priority.

A gentle first step

If any of these areas resonate with you, I usually recommend starting with a free 15-minute hello. It is a quiet space for us to introduce ourselves and see if we feel like a good fit for one another, with no pressure to  work together or book full sessions.
